Since 1993, Serkim Resin has been a pioneering company in the market, producing Alkyd Resin and Saturated Polyester, and its knowledge base and experience in the sector strengthens its market position with each passing day. Customized according to our domestic and international customers, our plants produce over 60 types of Alkyd Resin and Saturated Polyester resins in an ever-expanding product range. Our R&D department offers customized resin production services, using new technologies to develop and produce resins suitable for different continents and climates.
Serkim Resin’s new 30,000-ton capacity, self-financed plant commenced production in 2017, exporting products to several countries across several continents. In addition to its standard products, Serkim’s R&D department develops and manufactures customized resins as per customer demands. In accordance with its vision of quality manufacturing, every raw material is diligently examined before being used for production. Following a meticulous manufacturing process, quality control tests the products for conformance to criteria before putting them on the market.

Serdar Çolak, born in 1979 in Istanbul, graduated from Kadir Has University with a degree in Business Administration. Growing up, he played basketball in the youth programs of major Turkish clubs, an experience that strengthened his teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills—qualities that later shaped his professional career.
After completing his education, he joined the family business in 2001 and began his professional journey at Serkim Boya Kimya. Over the years, he played an active role in the company’s transformation, strategic investments, and transition toward resin specialization. Since 2016, he has been serving as the Chairmen of the Board, leading Serkim’s vision of innovation, sustainable growth, and global expansion.
Under his leadership, Serkim has strengthened its position as a trusted resin manufacturer in both domestic and international markets. Serdar Çolak continues to guide the company with a strong focus on product diversification, operational excellence, and sustainable industry practices.
